There's a whole new programme of demonstrations and workshops, as well as weekly painting together sessions and a monthly portrait group ready for 2026.

A great venue, tasty food, and a bunch of fun loving, friendly, artistic people all added up to a lot of giggles and a fab time at our Christmas lunch.
'Some' may have cheated on the quiz! ;)

A thoroughly enjoyable day with Mark Warner, using acrylics to paint a harbour scene. So many new techniques explored.

We watched fascinated as the sitter for the evening appeared on Stewart Beckett's canvas, as he demonstrated painting a portrait alla prima in oils.
Stewart will be back in July 2026 with a workshop in portraiture.

A super loose watercolour demonstration with Christine Forbes.
So many great techniques and glorious, magical wet into wet watercolour.
Christine will return in April 2026 with a full day's flowers and foliage in watercolour/Indian ink workshop.

Members and guests enjoyed a fascinating demonstration with Fiona Hooper: using gold leaf on prepared canvas and autumnal coloured oils, she created a beautiful forest scene.
Fiona returns to the society in March 2026 with a full day's workshop.

Watercolour workshop with Joe Dowden: great colour mixing tips with quite a limited palette. Making sense of mixing greens!

A fascinating and inspiring evening with Manny Woodard demonstrating portraiture in charcoal.
Manny will be holding a charcoal workshop in May 2026.

After what seemed like decades of planning and despite best laid plans being scuppered at the last minute, we got there and now have a brand new BIG shed!
Couldn't have been done without the dedication of the wonderful "shed team" and the hands on help of our members in brilliant sunshine and downpour!

Our annual summer Arundel Gallery Trail exhibition in the Cathedral centre was a stunning display of our members creations, appreciated by all who visited.
With thanks to the Steering Group who planned and oversaw the ten days and the stewarding team, it was a huge success.

A satisfying day playing with acrylic inks and soft pastels with tutor Rick Holmes.

A one day exhibition in lovely St. Mary's Church, Clymping, as part of the village's annual Open Gardens. Most of us went home with lots of plants as well as our paintings!

Harry Venning, what a great entertainer! A great night with lots of laughter amidst cartoon demonstrations.

A well enjoyed workshop on skies in acrylic with Samantha Louise.

A jam packed day of loose watercolour flowers with Jake Winkle.
A full house watched, painted, and watched again!

Very interesting evening with Frans de Leij.
Presentation and demonstration about painting skies in watercolour. Frans is always wonderful to watch paint and also shares freely what he has learnt over many years painting experience.

Fantastic workshop with Jo Dowers, exploring amazing washes with a limited palette.
After lunch we then experimented with ink washes and creating textures. A fulfilling and absorbing day, that everyone enjoyed.

Who knew an AGM could be such a great evening! Celebrating a successful 2024 and looking forward to a great 2025.
